Word about our new division has begun to spread! An article in the Oakland Press entitled, “Custom Home Health of Royal Oak launches hospice practice, plans to hire 50” includes details about our recent expansion, Custom Hospice.
An excerpt from the article:
Custom Home Health, a Royal Oak-based provider of customized home health care services, has announced the launch of Custom Hospice. Effective April 1 as the result of the company’s acquisition of Troy-based Advance Professional Hospice Care, Custom Hospice is now offering the full spectrum of hospice-related services. Financial terms of the acquisition, announced by Custom Home Health founders Chris Tillotson and Sean Fossee, were not disclosed.
The company plans to hire at least 50 home health care and hospice clinicians and management staff in the next six months to support its growing operations that serve patients throughout Southeast Michigan.
Founded in 2011, Custom Home Health was established to provide patients with a high level of personalized, skilled home health care, delivered with integrity, excellence of care and a company-wide commitment to team empowerment.
“Adding hospice into our portfolio of service offerings was the next logical step in Custom’s evolution,” said Chris Tillotson, president of Custom Home Health and Custom Hospice. “Custom Hospice adds a complementary set of passionate, compassionate services to our home health care practice, and we bring the same elevated quality of care and compassion that people have come to expect from Custom Home Health to Custom Hospice patients and loved ones.”
