The Detroit Free Press named Custom Home Health the #1 mid-size company during the 2017 Top Workplace Awards. Following the great honor, the Detroit Free Press featured a story about The Custom Way, recent milestones, achievements and where we plan to elevate further.

“We’re surprised and not surprised,” said Sue Ciaglia, a vice president. “We are always trying to do things to keep that small, family feel. But we weren’t sure how we’d do compared to larger companies. It’s really an honor for us to finish so well again.”
The company has been named a top workplace for six consecutive years.
Since starting in 2011, the company has grown to 160 employees, with 50 of them being hired in the past year, and plans to hire 40 more within the next year.
Custom plans to move to a new, larger headquarters in 2018.
“There are 600 home health-care companies in southeast Michigan,” said Chris Tillotson, company president. “We really take pride in the fact we have to be different. We have to be special.“
